I have hopes, but I won't get them high. They have young ones, just like way back when they got beaten. Europe teams are getting stronger every year, especially on International basketball. They will surely have a hard time. China has a pretty big chance too, and Spain if both Gasols play, Greece is definitely a team to beat. What do you think?

Definitely not the US... There is no doubt that they have talent, but championship team are not based on pure talent.. its with the players chemistry

I agree! And international basketball is definitely way different than an NBA style of play. I hope they grasp that situation. (unless they put MJ on their roster!) LMAO

US has the bigger chance than other team but im so disappointed that no one in Olympic gold medalist participate the FIBA, all youngster so there is a chance for an upset... next to US, Spain, Argentina and France would be a great contender.

I had to search to see who was all on the roster first. It looks like a really young team. I really don't know how they would fare against everyone else. The days when the U.S. basketball team was considered invincible is long gone. A lot of other countries are really improving in the sport so I wouldn't be surprised to see them struggle a bit.
