It takes time for me to decide what I'm going to buy when I go shopping

Yeah, that's me, I spent maybe 2-3 hours and still I am not done with what I want to buy, It was a funny experience one time when I let hubby dropped me in the shopping center and I told him to pick me up after his work. He keeps on calling me if I am ok? haha I said, pretty much until it was already 7 pm still I'm not done with my shopping. The store is about to close so, I transfered to another store which open 24 hours. when hubby called it's 9pm and he said he is on his way to pick me up.. I still roam around looking for something until 10pm he said, " are you ready to go? I just said, yes even if I'm not done, he might tell me that he'll pick me up the following day. hahaha... what about you? did you experience spending lots of time in the shopping center?

I can spend a whole day in a shopping mall, hunting for bargain sales and window shopping. But that was when I wasn't married yet. Now, I have three kids and I always have to time myself going shopping. Like I have to be home less than two hours now. I miss being single. lol

I don't spend more then an hour shopping if I can help it. Unless it something for home decor, then I might spend a whole day trying to decide, lol, but otherwise it's in and out. Ten minutes to pick up whatever is needed and then five minutes in the line.

Me too.I really take time roaming around coz I always don't really know what I like.I just know what I need but I usually just don't know which style or brand I should pick. I would roam around the whole mall just to buy a pair of pants.I would even go back to the same stores 2 to 3 times.S ometimes after a long walk around the whole building I would end up buying nothing. But if somebody is with me especially my girlfriend...I mean my ex, I would at least go home not empty handed. She was so aware of this that's why whenever I liked what I saw in an ordinary day walk in the mall, she would force me to buy it already.

I take a lot of time when I go clothes shopping. I think about getting something then weigh pros and cons and decide if its really worth it. I have been known to take a couple of hours in shopping. For grocery shopping, I have to read all the packages before we buy anything because we cannot buy it if it has MSG in it. That triggers bad migraines in me.

Oh really? that's my weakness because I don't read the labels when grocery shopping. But when buying clothes and bags or shoes it took me hours of selecting.. but grocery? it's too quick because am not reading the labels hehe.

That happens to me too. Sometimes I just could not find any item that suits my taste. I am very choosy when shopping for clothes and there would be times no style or cut suit my taste so I would go from one shop to another and it would take me almost a whole day just for one clothes. This is the reason why I prefer to shop alone, I don't want anyone bothering and asking me if I am through with shopping or not. I want to enjoy my time alone. I really don't care if it takes me too long provided I could be able to buy what I exactly want.

About in shopping I am easily get decided to what I am going to buy. I am a quick buyer specially if I like the things. And if I see it is durable and I check it okay , fine I pay it right away. I don't want to choose to long cause I am a type of person that don't like to stay long in choosing. I don't have enough patience in looking the good ones. Easily attracted and if I found out that is look good then I go for it.

I know someone same like yours and i don't want to tag along when this person go shopping. Gosh i can't stand long time looking for a dress or a pair of shoes. I am also a meticulous shopper but 2 hours is too much to wait. And yah,i couldn't just imagine when my husband will reply that " pick you up tomorrow hahaha" I bet you really enjoyed much with your shopping dear. Have a wonderful weekend

HI, Interesting topic to discuss here in MyLot. For me, I can spend wholeday in a shopping mall when I was single. I just like to do either window shopping or real shopping with my friends during my off-day.It is kinda of way for to relieve my stress. But most of the time, i would end up buying something,of course, I never aim for branded goods. If i saw something nice and comfortable and the price is reasonable, then I will buy it. During my off-day ,I can start my shopping day from the time the shopping mall is open and till it is close. Of course, I did not walk for wholeday,in between, I will have a break in a cafe for tea and my meal. When come to shopping, it needs lot of time as I need to walk around and find the things that i like,so 2-3 hours is pretty short time actually. However, after i got married, I seldom go shopping. Most of the time will be grocery shopping and i always do it during weekdays, less people and I can take my own sweet time. I am lucky that I can drive myself, do not like to depend on my husband all the time. So whenever I am out for shopping, I will drive myself.

though i usually take a lot of time for shopping but not as much as you take....if i didn't find something what i want then i didn't buy i postpone it for my next visit......i think you should decide your preferences for what you want...like how much you are going to spend...what quality you want...etc..etc.. when you will be clear what you want then it will be easy to make choice....

That's the problem because when I go to the store, I don't have any idea of what I want, I just look around and if I find the thing I like, that's the time I will think if I will buy it or not. That takes too much time.. to decide hahaha.

I think it's the same thing for me...:D When I can't decide what to buy I walk around and sometimes I end up buying nothing at all. That's why when I shop I invite some buddies to come along with me so that they'll help me on what to choose. Man, the last time I bought shoes, it took me 2 days to finally buy the shoes that's right for me...:)
