Tanned for sure, but not burned! I've seen some people who look orange like...well...an orange and I find it very unappealing as a male. However, I've seen some girls that are extremely pale and they can pull it off quite well, and I'm not even necessarily referring to red heads; however, with that said I would still prefer someone who is tan.

I am a female too. I think guys loves fair skinned ladies. It is more attracted to them. Some of the guy physical attractiveness is one the criteria in choosing a partner. They value looks more than character, virtues and action. But anyhow, modesty in an attractive woman allows you to discern the inner beauty that makes for a satisfying marriage.
