Cat who gave the birth to puppy

Recently I read the article about donkey and zebra who made the new species called zedonk. And on next day there appeared an article about cat who gave the birth to puppy. Only thing what puppy have from cat is tail and ears.
I admit these news as something exiting, but my work colleague who is 60 years old said, that it is only fiction. He don't think that such kind of anomalies are possible.
But I'm not so skeptical, I think that there have been made experiments with people to, when the human is paired with some animal, but also I think that the governments don't show this creatures to the world.
What do you think about that? Do you believe that such a new species are possible?

Hi,
Its not possible.i also asked this to my biology teacher in 10th std.(we were very frank,he was a great teacher and i give all the credit of my mars to him).He told me that sperm of same species can enter the ovaries.so tiger and lion possible donkey horse possible but cat dog isn't possible :)

Lol I don't know if this is really possible, maybe a mutated kitten but not a puppy?! I'm too skeptical to think this is true...
I think it's possible for new species to emerge but not in one birth! New species takes thousands and thousands of years to emerge. I would be extremely shocked to find that this is true. Maybe if it was true the puppy embryo must have been implanted to the cat. Wouldn't have been a pleasant birth if it was a litter of puppies.
