squatting is one of the best possible workouts which will strengthen your back. squatting is what are popularly known as "squats". there are two possible types of squatting. the first type is called free squatting which is done without any weight on your shoulders. the second type is called weight squatting which is done with a weight on your shoulders. Generally , free squatting is done as a warm up before doing weighted squatting. you should strengthen your back because as you rigously do abdominal exercises, you will need the strength of your lower back as well.
