aNyoNe heRe with Lazy eYe probLem?

My boyfriend is experiencing a terrible eye crisis..he's been experiencing lazy eye on his right.. and it seems to deteriorate.. we are both scared that he might end up not being able to see anything aT all.. i don't know what to do or how to help him..he is depressed. He already consulted an ophthalmologist and he was told that his condition is idiopathic.. and i really want to help him.. i don't want him to be blind... is their any eye exercise that can improve his eye sight? pls..help me..=)

I used to have the same problem and before I has my operation the optometrist or the eye doctor had me perform some ways to exercise the lazy eye
some exercises to get my eyes in focus. One of these was to put a patch over the good eye to strengthen the weak eye .

wow..so eye patching really works...my boyfriend learned from the internet that patching the good eye to strengthen the weak eye is helpful...and it's good to know that it's indeed effective learning from you who have experienced the same as my boyfriend... i will definitely make a good eye patch for him..thanks..=)

It will strengthen his weak eye and he may be lucky that he might not need an operation. All the same, he should see the eye doctor. There are other exercises where you see an image on one side, and another image on the other side and you join them together. It is something like 3D glasses where one side was red and the other green, only instead of the red and green you have two different images. I do not know what it is called, but it helps one focus.
