How should I ask my girlfriend to marry me?

Romantic, but not cheesy. Id like to take her away to an exotic country. Find an empty beach, a waiter and a table and chairs and propose after dinner. But my budget doesnt stretch that far. Any suggestions?

Dont propose straight away. First of all make her to feel that she cant live without you.Make sure she too loves you. Then proposal doesnt matter.She will propose you before you do so.
