Did You like Toby Maguire as Spiderman or the "NEW" guy?

Thanks for this information. My cousin did mention about this before, but I brushed it away knowing it was probably just a showbiz rumor but now that I've read it here, I have to accept it although I don't really like the idea of changing an actor/actress who has played a certain character for many episodes/films. It just somehow makes me uncomfortable, but I am really a spiderman fan so I'll just have to watch the next sequel and be the judge.

owww... they're really changing toby mcguire??? it wouldn't be the same if somebody that place... why are they changing anyway? better look at that issue in the web. anyway, i have loved toby mcguire as the spiderman... but let us also give this 'new' guy a chance to prove himself he could do the role, right? happy mylotting!

I like Toby better,he has the innocent look and nerdy looking guy with his movie spiderman. I dont like Andrew Garfield in this movie coz his image and look seems like dont suit in the movie spiderman.Toby is more better as Peter Parker.

i want to prefer toby rahter then new guy

I think that the story would be better if they continue with toby maguire. Doesn't make much sense to use a new guy and tell the story about his childhood if we can see how things start in the first movie. i hope this to be a good one but i have serious doubts about it :/

I also love Toby. I think his face was more cute for the spider man . I think he has more pleasant face. I havent yet see any film of Andrew Garfield.But from picture i think he has a more serious face. The simplicity is not in his face. I like toby more.

Well I have only seen pictures of the new guy. I would prefer to see him in the actual movie instead and then decided who I like better. I do think Toby did a great job with the character though.

Having just looked at pictures of Andrew during filming Spiderman I actually would say I prefer Toby. Andrew looks too young compared to what we are used to, I preferred the fact that Toby looked like your typical boy next door as you say rather than Andrew who looks like he's just stepped out of a photo shoot.

l didn't like either of them. l mean they look nothing like the parker l remember. Nor did the peter in the movies behave like him.
