Do you undergo regular health check up?

Do you undergo regular health check up to ensure that you are healthy? Or do you go to the doctor or hospital only when you are unwell? I usually go for a complete health check up once every two years for myself and my family. I always believe prevention is better than cure and so feel that preventive check ups are very important.
What are your views on this?

I don't want to go to hospital to undergo regular health check up but when i am unwell or when i am sick or when i am ill then i use to go for hospital. We have a family doctor but still i won't undergo regular check up. For me i think its of not necessary.

I think actually that is a dangerous approach to take on the long term. Most of the diseases these days are curable if detected at the right time including cancers. So it is always safe to do a regular checkup and these days it is not too expensive as well. The amount you will end up spending on the disease if it gets detected at a later stage is pretty huge compared to it.
