Noisy Tennis Match

Azarinka and Sharapova are playing for the Bank of the West title right now. It is like they are really competing to see who can make the loudest scream when hitting their shots rather than who will play the better tennis. Right now Azarinka is up a set but the extremely high decibel screaming is about equal. It his hard to watch such a match on TV and I think I would want my money back if I were there in person because the noise they make just makes the tennis hard to enjoy. It is a totally unnecessary distration and I think the WTA should crack down on it and start penalizing players who do it.

I know that some of the players can be really passionate on the court with their screams and grunts but it does get a bit distracting at times. This issue has been brought up before but I don't think the tennis association has done anything about it. I'm really on the line about this. I understand that some players are just like that but it can become really annoying because the screaming does get louder as the match progresses. That's what I noticed, at least in Sharapova's case.

i completely 100% disagree with you. the fines on sounds will only worsen the players games sharapova is naturally a heavy striker and i agree she can get a bit annoying but if you try and restrict it, it will make her feel uncomfortable the wta cannot suddenly stop players from shrieking or screaming or grunting pr whatever u call it. what about michelle larcher de brittoo she literally screams her lungs out and also elena vesnina what is that its like shes saying "hiya" each time she hits the ball. u cannot stop playes from behaving naturally
