Now that I think about it... Hmm... I honestly can't remember. I can't remember myself opening a bible not unless it was required back then when I was still studying. I must be crazy to be not paying attention to this. No wonder my life now is a bit messed up. I think I have to reflect more on this. Thanks for the topic, it made me realize something.

i'm glad that i did something to make someone realize to make a step to be closer to God...and reading the Bible is one of those things that can please Him... i do feel that way sometimes..when i feel that i've neglected God.., he makes me realize this by making my life a bit messy..and i always turn to him... God bLess you..=)

hello.. I can say that the last time i hold and opened by bible was just last night. I just bought my bible about 6months ago, i bought it because i felt like i was too far from God. Not all people get to read their bibles and im one of them so i decided to buy for myself, read and reflect on it. The feeling is so nice after reading a passage from the bible. I suggest you try to read it and feel lighter afterwards ;)

A long, long time ago. But then, I was a member of a church which covered the Bible pretty much from cover to cover. And we read the Bible regularly and discussed it at length.
So, for much of my youth, I became very familiar, if not intimate, with the stories of the Bible. Now that I'm more knowledgeable about history and also because of the internet, I'm looking for more details rather than just the broad strokes of the Bible. I'm now looking at the Bible from the outside.
Anyway, it was a different time. I was a different person. Now, I'm a bit older. And I cannot look at the Bible anymore as a beginner.
