Is United States really interesting in helping Iraq, or something else?

It is no easy to be a peacemaker. The only one role playing by the United States for a long while. United States had deployed its army all over the World to monitor any chaos, or genocide, etc...... Would it only for one mission? peacemaking or for its own beneficial future? There is no free lunch of course. People engage in an activity, there is must be a purpose, or for a goal. Why would U.S. spent so much money in interfering the Iraqi domestic affairs, and sacrifice so many soldier's lives?
Maybe in hope of controlling the oil supply, or more to it. What do you think?

Yeah,I agree with you.I think you have got the point.Have you ever heard a ancient proverb: A country does not have permanent friends,only permanent interests?Probably it sounds cruel,but it is true.I believe if Iraq does,t have such great deal of oil supply,is it possible that they still do interfering like that still? No,just look around the situation in Africa.Similar incidents also happened,but the government of United Stated almost disturb nothing about their domestic affairs.

That is right. They need the most, but they only do what is interesting them. In the name of peacemaking, they intrude in other people's country, and do whatever they want. Power is authority, don't you think? You got great force and weapon, you can do whatever you like.

My husband is in the Marine corp. Has been for almost 12 years now. His been deployed to Iraq 3 times now. He has lost so many good friends. He has pulled their children of their fathers coffins. Hes had to explain to mothers why their son isn't coming home. I asked him once why do you keep doing this do you really know what your fighting for? What your Marines are dying for. He looked me in the eye and said I don't know. NA I asked then why keep doing this. Why not just get out get a 9 to 5 job. Be normal. He then looked at me, and said. I cant do that because its my job to keep you and this family safe from harm. And I asked what do you mean,he said its because of the men like me that keep you safe from being told you cant speak english anymore you cant choose youe religion anymore. This is the religion you will pratice from now on. It's so you and the kids can lay your head down at night and sleep in peace with no worrys.
