Both are self proclaimed geniuses. Both have a single minded obsession(The Road Runner for Wile E. and the Krabby Patty Secret Formula for Plankton). Both get injured quite often in their pursuit for their single minded obsession. I can't be the only one who has drawn some interesting perils between Wile E. Coyote and Plankton.

I have maintained that Spongebob is a great program for children of all ages, from one to one hundred. It is one of those programs that really trascends generations. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I agree! I have heard some people saying that they won't let their 3 and 4 year olds watch the show because they think it's for adults. My daughter has been watching Sponge Bob since she first fell inlove with him at 2 years old.

Oh wow! You are SO right! I didn't even think of it or realize it until reading your discussion! The Wile E Coyote and Plankton are very similar and are so completely and incredibly obsessed with one thing and one thing only (Road Runner and The Krabby Patty Secret Formula). I guess that is why Sponge Bob Square Pants tv show has SO many viewers because I know back when I was a kid on Saturday morning most kids got up early to watch Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, YoSamate Sam, Tweety, Sylvester, Wile E Coyote, Road Runner, Marvin The Martian, and of course you can't forget Peppe' La Pew chasing his lady friend that was actually a cat that had spilled some white paint on her that conveniently made a stripe like a skunk!

I couldn't have said it better myself! I feel it really is sad that their are barely any cartoons left except for Nick, and Cartoon Network. I have a 4 year old and a 10 month old and have felt like their missing out already. I can imagine how I will feel if they have kids and I tell them stories about Saturday morning cartoons and they will think I'm loonie toons myself!
