It is about time! My friend has a Siamese female who he has had over a year. She wasn't fixed when he got her and always said he would! Weel now he is! The Siamese was driving him crazy! When she went into heat she was so loud and annoying! So loud the upstairs neighbors thought they heard a baby crying! I know Siamese cats are very talkive and can be on the loud side! I am surprised he didn't try and give her away! Maybe now he has learn his lesson! Fix the cat before bringing it home!

I am glad to hear that he got her fixed. She will live longer and be a better pet and companion for him now.

My friend knows that but he thinks when she is fixed her whole personality will change! His cat is a b*tch now and likes her as a b*tch! I sure no matter what happens he will love her anyway!

I am sure he will still love her too.
Actually, you could point out to him that if she managed to get out to a male and ended up having a litter of kittens - her personality would really change!

My Hubby has always wanted a siamese good to know they are very vocal kind of cat. I have one female who can be loud when she's in heat.... but I don't think loud enough that anyone would think she was a baby. Heaven forbid if someone heard her next door! EEK!

I was surprised to hear about the neighbors complaining but it did happen! I personally would not want a Siamese because they can be so vocal! When I am to have a pet it will be fixed right away! No procastinating!

Yes, those Siamese (and Siamese mix) cats can be really, REALLY loud!
Of the 3 cats we got fixed a few weeks ago, one was obviously some mix of Siamese - even tho she looked NOTHING like a Siamese, we KNEW as soon as we heard her voice, that she had some lurking in her back ground!

I am glad to hear when people fix their cats and dogs! I wish more people would! My friend also has a grey domestic shorthair. She was adopted from the Humane Society and she is fixed! My friend bought his Siamese from someone he knew. I know her name but it is Japanese and I don't know how to spell it! It is a cool name!

About time is right! For every kitten that is born because somebody didn't take the time to get their cat fixed, there's another one somewhere being euthanized because there isn't a home for it.

That is so dang true! So many people don't take the time or care to take the time to neuter and spay their pets! that isone reason we have so many strays and pets in animal shelters! People need to wake up and stop being lazy!

I had a Siamese, and yes they can be quite vocal. She would get very loud when in heat.
You can always tell a Siamese or Siamese mix from other cats when you hear them talking.. they really do sound like babies.. it's kind of freaky.
I really Loved my Soleil and her kids. They were more like dogs than cats. they followed me around the block when I walked the dogs.. I got many stares from people driving by in cars.. watching the 2 dogs and 2 cats following behind me.
I even had one that walked with us about a quarter mile up a busy route -to the gas station.. I picked him up to cross the street with us- but other than that he walked the whole way himself.. The Lady at the gas station was like "I'm sorry, I have dog biscuits for the dogs- but we don't usually get cats here..I have nothing to give him" LOL
