I've had soooo many different kinds of ramen noodles when I was in college that I can't even stand the smell of it when it's cooking. The only two kinds I really liked in particular were the Chicken and Oriental flavors. The Shrimp flavor is quite disgusting, too. I know people who eat these noodles everyday and never get tired of it. LOL I don't see how they do it!!

They definitely aren't the healthiest option that is out there because they are loaded with sodium. However, that doesn't mean that it is something that our family never eats because we do have them from time to time. However, we typically don't eat them as soup, instead, I've created a recipe for Ramen noodle stir fry that has always been a hit with our entire family. I never use all of the flavor pack in my stir fry because I don't like how salty it makes everything taste.

Yes you are definitely right about that. So many health problems can arise eating ANYTHING excessively! And yes, it is very important to also watch the health of those around you that you love especially if one is negligent of what they can and cannot eat!

I think we all get sick of eating certain things after having the item fairly consistantly for several years. I know alot of the things I ate as a kid you would not catch me eating now or on a regular basis. It seems to be the food of choice for teenagers and college age folks with it being cheap and easy to make.

That is so true. Maybe we, as humans, build an immunity to certain tastes for foods that we once enjoyed. I wonder if they have ever tried that for people who are allergic to certain types of foods. In my early 20s (now), I am enjoying Italian food! =) Thanks for sharing your views!!
