Being a Certified Dental Assistant previously, I have seen some terrible mouths... that needed serious dental work. I have also seen some of these people with their significant others.. and I just wonder how they kiss someone with dental problems like that. I'm sure that their breath smells 89% of the time and that jagged edges may cut across their tongues or SOMETHING?! Could you kiss someone like that?? Because I definitely CANNOT!!

Neither myself nor my husband has good teeth. In fact, I've known from the time that I was very young that I probably won't have my own teeth by the time that I am 40 years old because of what happened with my parent's teeth. That said, it doesn't bother me to kiss my husband and it doesn't bother him to kiss me because despite the fact that both of our teeth are messed up, we do try to work with and take care of what we have.

What exactly is wrong?? Decay?? That can be fixed. Deformities?? That can be fixed. Occlusion (the way you bite together)?? That too can be fixed. I am a CDA here in my state (VA) and I've helped many people. But, I do understand where you're coming from all the same.

My boyfriend's teeth aren't perfect, but they aren't terrible. His bottom teeth are really crooked and kinda stained. His entire family has bad teeth, though. They do take very good care of their teeth, but they always have cavities.
Now, if he was missing teeth and they were super yellow and all chipped and stuff? Nope. That wouldn't happen. I don't think I could do that.

That takes serious love. Because, me, being a former dental student, I doubt I could do it. I take very good care of my teeth and couldn't imagine my significant other smiling at me with jacked up teeth, it would churn my stomach.

One of my biggest pet peeves is bad breath.
Not even bad breath just breath in general. I HATE when I can feel people breathing on me or when they are talking and I smell their breath.
It totally freaks me out. So no, no I could not kiss someone with jacked up teeth. A little crooked its so bad but nasty dirty infected teeth, NOT WAY!

I couldn't kiss someone with really bad teeth. I expect my significant other to brush their teeth every single day or I couldn't stand it lol
