Are you an avid gamer? You shouldn't need a serious upgrade like this unless you you are using heavy graphics. If you are looking to game, a PC is a overall better choice by comparison. The parts are much cheaper. What's the total cost running you for this machine?

Well nice specs here in this laptop but i think that isn't i7 1.6GHz a bit slow ??? Coz this specification are of a gaming laptop and with this processor, your games would easily bottleneck it because most of the games nowadays usually consume power from max 2 cores. So, it would easily bottleneck that processor. And i suspect the performance of graphic card also. Its ATI 5730 mobility series, so it would be delivering lesser power than expected. So, do check the graphic card also. But i think the main problem is the processor. So, have a look at other options too.

not for an icore7 processor. 1.6 is very high or icores its not the same as a duelcore or other processors that usually range from 2.6 - 3.0 this processor is far faster

The thing about the gaming computers is that a lot of new games require higher graphics cards and more CPU power, laptops are not easy to upgrade for gaming, at least that's what I've heard, I'm not sure about gaming laptops though.
