I do enjoy reading historical novels. I don't get the chance to read a lot of them, but from time to time I do enjoy reading them. I've always enjoyed learning about history, and such, which is probably why I enjoy reading historical novels.

I like to read history books and also books which are set on a certain period of history, showing how everything was then even if the characters are ficticious. That is a very good way of understanding how we are now.

I actually regularly read historical novels. Does historical romance novels count? I love reading these kinds of novels. I also get to learn some traditions and habits of the medieval ages or the 1800s in Europe and America. History never ceases to fascinate me.

REading history books makes me sick. I dont find it interesting, sometimes I just feel asleep in my history class. How much more reading the books. I would like watching it rather than reading the history because I am more on visual.

Hi, Yes I love to read those books. As a matter of fact, books that are being written today will be read as genuine source of information after a century. Even the things that we've learned about the past mostly came from the literature composed in that time. Today's literature will be tomorrow's history, for sure. Sometimes people do bit of research to find some concrete information on a certain period of time. Then they write stories on that. History that is written in text books are inferior to those written in story books. The plots are more interesting. The images that are created through these historical stories and novels last longer in our mind. They are magnificent. Thanks. God bless you

Yes I love to read historical books. I'm intrigued by what happened before. And they say you cannot move forward without looking to your past.
