Can Televisions dissappear some day?

Thinking about the future, will people still need these old devices called Televisions? I think the role of Televisions is going down. For me, I rarely use Televisions now. Computers become my life. I can watch movies, read news, contact friends, and much more. What will you miss if Televisions disappeared? Will you feel sad if Televisions disappeared tomorrow?

It would not be the in-thing. But I'm sure there would still be people who would still be interested in old obsolete stuff like a television just as there are people today who are still interested in things of the past.
Television would be an antique not many would be able to afford. And those born into the new era would probably be very curious of what a tv was as they had never heard or seen it perhaps. Tv would be the next celebrity taking center-stage with the many celebrities it had televised.
I would love to keep mine and have it passed down the generations.

That's funny. I think the Television will be just like radios now. Some people like, others are wondering why some people like.

I wouldn't miss them too much if there was another, better, alternative to TV. Yes technology is moving fast, and a lot of what we have now we don't bother with as much anymore. I mean you can just speak to your phone now and have it text it for you. Everything is made so convenient now that you don't really have to do much of anything.

I think the alternative exists at the present time. You can watch anything on your computer instead of your Television. The only obstacle can be the Internet connection but I guess that such obstacle will disappear in the soon future making Televisions a device from the past time.

I don't think televisions will completely disappear. They will just become more and more advanced. I think they will basically be really big computers eventually.
I wouldn't miss tv's that much if they were gone though, since we have computers that you can watch tv shows and movies on, it would be easy to live without television.
