When you glance in a mirror, you may think of how you look like when you were younger, even compering that with what your appearance could be in the years to come or how you would look after applying cosmetics. Those thoughts can arise almost unconsciously, yet something very special is occurring, something that no animal can experience.Did you try to think of it? we have the ability to imagine all faces that we saw or see. but we cannot memorize our face after looking in the mirror.

I never really thought about that, but I can tell you for sure that I do not imagine what I would look like after applying cosmetics :)

I am not very self conscious when I look in the mirror. Besides checking to see if I need a shave I don't waste time looking at the wrinkles or blemishes or things of that nature. But the mirror is a good place for introspection. Because one will get a sense of one's appearance and therefore build either positive or negative perceptions of one's self.

Hey this is a very good discussion and I appreciate it, as things like this happen in everyday life yet we fail to notice them and when we get a glance about it we tend to forget it also.

yes..i've noticed that too..since i'm the type of person who turns my head around to any available mirror in any place...a glimpse of myself will make me smile and say that my looks have been changing as years passed by and i dread the thought of seeing myself one day with wrinkles..hahahah...
