The Last Airbender

As a fan of the Avatar series, I hated this movie. They tried to cram too much into a movie that wasn't long enough for it. As a result, you ended up with characters you didn't identify or relate with at all. The actual bending itself was done horribly, 5 minutes of twisting around awkwardly for a little tornado. Even if I separate myself form the content of the series, it was still an unimpressive movie. Rating from 1 to 10, I give this movie a 4.

Round Zero, as a fan of the avatar TV show on nickelodeon I hated this movie so much, they totally ruined the storyline, they the act was lame, stupid looking battles, wrong looking characters for acting, they made Airo as a thin old man with messy looking air! and Zuku's scar? its barely a scratch! come on you people! I can barely see it. They decided that Sokka is a serious guy, they killed his funny part! And when Yoe sacrificed her life to revive the moon spirit, her body was left on the floor like leftovers. And they changed avatar Ruko to a long neck dragon, and when Aang should have used his power to become the gigantic water beast he just made a huge tsunami, the fire nation's soldiers move a little bit from it and he stopped the attack! it was so lame!!! In conclusion- do not watch the movie! it sucks real badly!!!

It doesn't come out in britian for another couple of weeks and despite the negative reviews i still want to see it so i can judge for myself and have evidence to back up any criticisms i may have. Birdie -

With everything that was already said in previous responses, the only thing that was left out Zulcool93, is the action. Do yourself a favor, if you are a fan of the cartoon, then DON'T go watch this movie, don't fund it and support this piece of crap. Hopefully all of us fans of the cartoon can have some dignity remain of the animated series and this truly will be the LAST airbender! Oh and I would rate this film a 1. I actually went to the projectionist in my cinema and asked him to give me M. Knights, address, because he owes me at least half my money back because I could literally feel my life wasting away watching this crap. The other half I am willing to accept giving it false hope that it maybe sort of good.

the movie was not bad... but not good either. Fayalite's right, the movie was so crammed. some of the characters are off. they did however put the highlights of Book 1 into the movie but still... not what i expected it to be.
