Amazing feats of the body

I have seen a friend who can do this: twist her thumb 180 degrees around, and she can do this for both her left AND her right thumb. Isn't that amazing and yet scary at the same time? My own not-so-amazing feats will be, I can (1) arch one eyebrow separately from the other and (2) bend my thumb until it touches the wrist on the same hand I have been forever trying to wag my ears but to no avail, anybody can teach me that technique? Are there any amazing feats you can do with your body? Do share with me

my friend, you are amazing! i don't know how to do those tricks you have stated here, but i know some friends who also can do that 180 degrees.but to reach the wrist using the thumb,i can't do that.actually i'm trying it now,but i can't. i can't even raise my eyebrow, don't know, even the whistling sounds,i can just do little sounds but not really whistle, ahahah! but one thing i can do is to make sound of my both palm which my sisters find funny about me.

The eyebrow thing can be practised you know. I did practise many years back and once I know the technique I can always control it. It's nice to make your sisters laugh, even if it's just a silly thing like make funny sounds with your palms.

bmp,i can't do the eyebrow thing, though sometimes my sister said she happen to see me did it,but i simply don't know how to, i know it takes lots of practices, even the whistling sounds, but i don't have patience for that i guess. yeah,i find it funny though, making sounds using palms, hehe you know, most filipinos i think are good at making sounds using their bodies. there are some who used their armpits and palms together to make a sound, just imagine how funny it is,right? but you know, some noontime shows had portions like that here in the philippines.it's like a music band using your own body sounds. voldrox,i think you know now what's the meaning of it,with the help of BMP here,it stated in your thread. but your friend is such an artist i can say,but yeah,if i am the one whose doing it,i would felt shy if asked to repeat it,hehe

How to raise one eyebrow Hold down both your eyebrows with your two hands, try to raise one side without the other, then try to feel the muscles controlling the eyebrows. Once you can feel the muscles separately, you can control them. That was how I practised back then. Try it and see I don't know how the armpits and palms together sound like (I'm trying it but I don't hear anything, maybe just the armpit smell comes out )

You sure are funny bluemoonpavilion. You mean you move your brows like the wresler/actor 'The rock'? Well i don't have anything to share from my side but i have a friend who can completely rotate his arms making a loop and passing his body through it, like hopping on a rope, without letting the hands lose contact between them. Hope you understand what i mean. :D

voldrox, Thanks for the compliments, I like being funny Your friend must have very long arms to do that, I think I would get stuck halfway, haha. annavi, what's a contortionist? I have not heard of this term before. I'm actually quite stiff so I envy people who are very flexible.

annavi, thanks for the link, I know I can never be one because I'm very stiff! When I bend forward, the furthest I can touch with the tips of my fingers is my knees, pathetic, aren't I? I have always failed in my physical exams during school days because stretching is one of the test we have to pass.

Wow, it is so amazing you have this kinds of feats, for me, I don't have special feats about my body. I felt my backache and legache, I think maybe it's a long time that I don't practice my body.

Haha, time to do some exercise and oil that body. It's good to keep your body supple and flexible or you would become more stiff as time goes by.

Hey bluemoon, we meet again. Good A cousin of my friend can perform a set of weird things - 1. She can roll her eyeballs in opposite directions at the same time and 2. She can also juggle her hands in opposite directions at the same time. She is just 14. The first time I swa her do the eyeball prank on me I thought she was possessed lolzzz

Hi thesids, Thanks for stopping by again. Wow, these are really amazing feats, I can't imagine rolling the eyeballs in opposite directions, or even hands. You must have gotten a shock when she first does that. It must be fun to go around shocking people hahaha.

Hi bluemoon! The only feat I can is to raise one eyebrow from the other from years of perfecting it at work and at home because I hate to shout or scream. But I can only do it with my left.

You are better than me at least. I can only do it with my left eyebrow only. The least you get a good practice. Heehee

I also practise many times for me to raise the eyebrow and I can do it at will for both sides I raise it at people just to amaze them but not that many people are amazed by it.

I don't have any amazing body feats like you, all my joints are very tight, their moving ranges are quite limited. But I watched a TV program yesterday. It's about a mystical little boy. All his fingers can be bent back to the back of his hand! So can his toes!! His wrists can be twisted to a angle more than 150 degree!!! It seems as if there was no bones in his hands and forearms. But after medical checks, all his bones are same as other children.

I have seen my cousin doing that with her fingers because her bones are very soft and flexible. I have never heard of people doing with their toes too. I wonder if his bones are just softer than others and whether he can still do that after he becomes an adult.
