Some people are ok sleeping for 4 hrs, whereas, some people sleep for more than 8 hrs. Which one of the two you think is helpful? Any suggestion!

Four hour's sleep is barely enough for a person who wants to lead a healthy life. One must get a minimum of 6 to 8 hours sleep. I myself sleep for 4 hours during night but then I make up the lost sleep by sleeping during the day.

Hi bekosfc, Four hours is not enough sleep for most people, although some manage quite well. Eight hours is closer to the norm and is the best for the majority of people. I don't think anyone needs more than eight however. Blessings.

It is important to get a minimum of 6 hours and a maximum of 8 hours of sleep. Remember that the effect of sleeping too much is similar to the effect of lack of sleep. So get the right amount and see why is important for you. Also, you may have noticed how your mood is affected on the day after a bad night's sleep. You are bound to be irritable, and distracted, only because you're going to be sleepy throughout the day. It is bound to end in a bad day. On the other hand, notice your mood on a day when you have had the necessary amount of sleep. You are going to be perky, ready to face the day and generally in a good mood. This is the impact of sleep on your mood. Again, you can only tell when you have tried it out. May you have enough sleep my friend :)
