"shoot first, ask questions later"
this was the instruction given to me by my boss
and it seems like this has gotten me in a bit of trouble
you see, he asked me to clean up his organization a bit and that's what i did
i eliminated overspending
lax employees, unnecessary services
impose new rules
and every step of the way i am receiving resistance from employees who do not want to change
all of the moves i made were documented except for one which caused quite an uproar, and to be honest about it, it was just to make the transactions paperless.
we have the system to document it and it's working perfectly ( designed by my team)
and every little detail that goes on in every transaction is monitored, down to the minutes it took to finish...
seems like people do not like to be closely monitored
hah... i sent out the memo for it to be imposed but the resistance i got was massive
they probably don't want to be found out sleeping during their so called business trips
change is what we need and if i have to be a maverick to make the positive change i'll snap my finger and make the change no matter the cost
(oh by the way... i brought down the expenses to 30% from the original expenses for the months of march april and may, and my boss has tasked me to bring it down further and maximize the efficiency in the workplace)
(guess who's gonna get resistance again! wahoo)

Whenever I hear that, I know that it always means to do your job and do what you have to do first, and then ask why you did it.
My step-father does that to me all of the time. He tells me to do stuff and then I get to ask him questions about it once it is done. That's how works.
