How do you feel about Proposition 8 being over turned?

Today the prop 8 was ruled unconstitutional by the supreme court. It is in the process of being redirected.l Proposition 8 stated it was illegal for homosexuals to marry in the state of Callfornia. Do you feel this is one step closer to equality for all? Or a giant leap in the wrong direction? This passed 2 years ago with a very narrow 49 to 51 yes.

So now then I'm guessing that means it is legal again for homosexuals to marry? I think it is a good thing. I think it is a step in the right direction too. I don't buy that is affects the institute of marriage in any way. Marriage is about two people that love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives devoted to each other. It doesn't have to be a man and a woman. I hope that eventually all states will make it legal.

I think it’s great news! I wish we would have gay marriage legalised here in Australia too! I have always been in favour of gay marriage although I am not gay. I believe in love and if two people love each other enough to want to commit to the relationship for life their gender is irrelevant and they should be allowed to do so. Yes, in my opinion it is definitely a step in the right direction!
