Are you an anime addict? I admit i am.. i mean i'm 28 years old and i still have fun talking to pre-teens and teenagers about the latest episodes of naruto in mangstream.com or talk about eyeshield21 re-runs.. i guess its just as normal as a vintage toy collector or a comic book fanatic.. but then we see a common denominator here.. they somewhat brings out the kid in all of us.. though i heard of other people who took this certain "kid inside them" more than serious by collecting life size marvel characters but hey, that's how thay want it (not to mention they have the money to pay for it).. but then again, may be for sheer fun or for show, no one can really blame people from being hooked into anime, or comics, or video games... they, we wont care, as long as we're having a chance to relive our childhood again..

I'm 22, and I love anime, I've bought many of my favorite shows because I enjoy the stories. it doesn't matter how old you are as long as you enjoy it, it shouldn't matter. I love Fullmetal Alchemist, The Slayers, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Generator Gawl, Gurren Lagann, RomeoXJuliet and Bleach. I also watch Funimation's video portal and write primarily anime reviews for websites like Helium and Triond. I like anime and I hate it when people say, "it's for kids, you should stop watching it!" Ugh, that bothers me, because there are really great stories and people can't get over the fact that it's animated.

I'm 25 myself and I enjoy watching anime and reading manga. I prefer it over a lot of other cartoons and shows. I'm not certain why, maybe its the style and the plot-lines. I'd certainly buy more if I had the income to do so, along with the memorabilia, but I'm also a frugal person, so I'd probably have to watch it first to determine if its worth having in my collection, not that I currently have one, more's the pity.

I suppose I'm still somewhat of an anime addict but not as much as I used to be. I used to be obsessed over it and I'd have to watch every episode or read every chapter of a series as it comes out. I'm more of a casual fan these days. I still love watching anime and reading manga but it's more in moderation. I don't think I can pull off anime marathons like I used to. But I find watching anime to be interesting because there are just so many genres to enjoy. Unlike American cartoons where it's mostly some form of slap stick comedy, anime genres include real life issues that someone my age (I'm 27) can relate to. It's not all for the kids. Plus, I gotta agree with the above post, if people can enjoy their soap operas and tv sitcoms then I can enjoy my anime.

You are right, I can't help it with my passion for animes, I am true Otaku in my blood. I actually see me still watching animes in the future and even showing my children animes, it is not just a childish cartoon like people think it is, the anatomy of the characters in animes is so realistic, and the characters have complex feelings just like the human nature. Usually they have to make decisions which will change them life!
