Iphone but can't make phone calls?

I have seen the iPad, and the iPad mini, but I am not too impressed with either one. There are still kinks and flaws that Mr. Steve Jobs needs to work out. In fact, he should have had the majority of the kinks and flaws worked out before he released his products.

Okaaay…I’m lost here…Why is the iPhone 4 not good to make calls? Are there problems with it? I don’t have any Apple products and I’m quite happy with my Nokia but I do want to know what these iPhones have to offer in case I get lucky enough to be able to afford one!

Okay lets get this situation straight once and for all. Of course this iphone makes calls. That is it's primary function hence it wouldn't be an IPHONE. I think what he means was the antenae in the outer rim of the device if you held it with your left hand would block the signal so you couldn't make calls with the device. It could be fixed by getting a case for it that APPLE is providing FREE of charge or a little piece of duct tape. Next if you are planing of getting the newer phone, APPLE will ALWAYS have a new phone each and every year. AT&T even told me that. If you are interested in the video chat, which lets face it is the main reason everyone wants the phone. you can only chat with other AT&T providers. SO if you got a buddy that has the Sprint EVo, which too is capable of video chat, because it is on a different network, you're out of luck. I hope this helps clearify some things. Happy Mylotting!!

Yeah, some of these smart phone manufacturers keep saying "don't call it a phone" well, too bad, that is what it is.

Though i do have an iphone too, but i'm definitely not going for the iphone 4 for sure!! haha =D It has got so much problems with it, and it's not worth the money.. hehe PLus, i think those problems are created on purpose, due to the leak way back before it's launched.. haha =D With so much hype about this iphone 4, and american's pride of not wanting to fall behind japan in terms of technology, thus apple is rushing out this new version which does not work at all.. haha =D Thus this iphone4, is a stupidphone, rather than a smartphone.. lol =D

What do you mean? Call me ignorant....but do you mean to say that the iPhone4 cannot be used to make calls??? I was planning on getting the iPhone4. I wanted to buy iPhone for a while now, but I waited to get the 4. I mean...why get the 2 or 3 when there will be a new version out in a few months.....and now you are telling me tghe iPhone4 does not make calls??? You've gotta be kidding me!!!! I've never been an Apple fan, and well, if I buy the iphone, that will be my first Apple product....and from the sound of this....may be I'm not cut out to be an Apple owner.....
