Really, are gadgets taking over our lives? The other day I was driving to the grocery store and I was at a stop light so I was looking around enjoying the beautiful day. As I looked around I noticed not everyone was looking up and looking around they were looking down. Looking at their hand held gadgets wheather an Ipod or Cell phone thats all people look at nowadays. If you see people walking they are looking down, if they are driving they are looking down. The world is becoming a gadget world of no conversations only the ones they hold on texting. People need to stop and look around enjoy the earth and the skys and everthing around them. What do you think? Are gadgets taking over our lives?

Lots Of People Don't Realize, That Those Gadgets Are not Going To Be Around For Long. And They Also Don't Realize That The Happieness That They Feel When Someone Is Texting Them Or Plays Games On Their Phone Is'nt Really Happieness, Its Just Excitment. The Real Happieness Comes From People Like You, That Enjoy The Nice Day, Or Go On A Run or Watch The Sunset. But For people With Technology, They Never See Thoes Stuff, Or Appriciate It Because Their Soo Addicted To Those Gadgets. And The So Called "Happieness" They Get From Technology, Will Never Last As Long As Real Happieness. As Our World Changes, People Will Less Care About Whats Around them, And They Will Never See Anything Like You Saw,Probably For The Rest Of Their Lives.

Yes it has. People want the latest and best gadgets out on the market so they are always trading up. It's like an addiction to some people.

I agree.. I think the gadgets are really overpowering our lives.. I miss those days where we can still appreciate the simplicity of things. I miss those days where I can still see playing outside - those silly games. Nowadays, majority of the kids are stuck in front of their computers or psp. Instead of nature tripping, people often prefer to stay with their gadgets. Although I am also enjoying those gadgets, I would still prefer those days where there is simplicity and things weren't that complicated yet.

I think that gadgets are taking over our lives. For some people, their phones are their lives. Always talking, texting, surfing the net, listening to music, playing games.. it is getting very dangerous (texting and driving). Unfortunately, I do not think there is a way to rid humans as a whole of this obsession.

I agree that gadgets are taking over some peoples lives. For me personally, I tend to use my gadgets at home the majority of the time. I don't want to be distracted by them with I'm out with my friends.

Yes I think they are taking over the world. But that is up to the individual as to whether it is a bad thing or not. Personally I think it's great, it keeps me happy, gives me something to look forward to and use in my life to reduce the bordem. Not to mention how easier it makes your life. The truth is it's up to you if you want it to take over YOU, it may take over the world but if you're not okay with that then you don't have to let it take over you.
