Last month, a friend of mine and I spent nearly a whole weeking traveling in Hongkong. As one of the special administrative regions in PRC, HK has been the habitat for people all over the world, from Europe, America, South and West Asia to Africa. People of different colors and social statuses can find the same kind of his own here. Westerners gather together and chat in the bars beside the Xiangjiang River or in the SOHO area; Philippines hold their religion activities on Statue Square and in Victoria Park; sometimes you can see people from the Arabic world or India walking on the street. They are so distinctive from each other, however, they all find it easy to live here, with, if not that fair, equal rights. I don't know the stories behind them. But the size and variety of the population is surprising, because it seems quite a safe and harmonious city. Have u been to HK? What is the most impressive thing to you?
