I happened to catch Glee a few nights back while waiting for the show I wanted to watch. Their assignment was to choose a song & sing it to the person who's name they had drawn out of a hat. Much like the members here at the Lot, they pick on each other with infighting occurring. That is (much like a family) until one of them is down or being attacked & then they ban together to protect their own. Well, 2 of the members were going through a really bad time. So, the rest of the club joined together to sing this good old Bill Withers song Lean On Me to the 2 feeling all down & out. That made me think of the Lot, so I thought I'd share. Thanks for sharing that song with us. Yeah, a lot of here needed to hear that song. I haven't watched Glee yet. Sounds interesting though. But it is hard to be able to watch some things since hubby controls the remote till he goes to bed and since he sleeps on the couch I can't even watch television then like I used to so I miss out on a lot of my favorites shows. Yeah sometimes it takes someone picking on the others to make friends or family to pull together sometimes.

Glee is far from my favorite show!!! However, it comes on here between 2 shows I do enjoy & I'm usually busy on myLot. so I sometimes am just too lazy to change the channel. 
As bad as I miss my hubby, you just reminded me of one of the pleasures of living alone...I control my own remote & I can sit anywhere I want to!!!!

lol..I miss him sleeping in the bedroom so I could watch television after 9 pm..which is when some of the shows i liked to watch come on..I love the show House..he doesn't...so I rarely get to watch it..Thanks for the best response it is truly appreciated Marissa.

I don't watch Glee all the time, but I do catch it every now & then. It's not a show that I readily remember to change the channel to but it does come on in between 2 shows I thoroughly enjoy. Sometimes I'm on myLot & I just don't think to change the channel. Then I will catch myself watching it between responses. This particular episode reminded me of some of the friendships I've watched evolve here!!! Glad my words brought a smile to your face!!!!

I think that myLot can be a great place to release LadyM. I have a small group of good friends here - or rather most have them have moved on elsewhere - who I am in contact with most days. But it's good to come back here from time to time and catch up with the lives of others and discover that you aren't half as alone as you thought that you were. Don't like this rendition of a great song though. The lead singer can't sing and his breathing is atrocious. I want to hear the words not his inability to control his diaphragm.

Hey LadyM! You are soooooo right! And I'd like to say that you
are one of my "most special friends" that I made here on the
Lot, as is the other friend that was mentioned too! I have
tried to explain to a few neighbors who have "stopped by"
while my screen was "parked" in the middle of a response just
what myLot is, but no one ever "gets it". As long as we do that's
all that matters! Something really special happens when I'm
with my "special friends" here and they know who they are and
yes, I feel their love and I know they feel mine too!!!

Well, thankies Leslie!!! There are times when we just instinctively know when to send that email of encouragement even though we don't know exactly what is happening at the moment!!!!
Yes, it is almost impossible to relate to the outsider what a family they could be joining & how close we become over a short period of time!!! I've been explaining it to my "real" family for 3 years now & they still don't understand. There have been times that my myLot family has been there to support me when my real family was too busy worrying about themselves. We are soooo freakin BLESSED to have found such a loving home!!!!

if any body enclose me and tell me to live for month with a pc just work for my lot. i can easy survive. in a month i earn a lot of money...:P
really its great site every body help other if they have solution what ever for money or what else but its fun to know each other and i love you aloo...:)
