hiya vinaysudhir i did a search in the myLot search bar and got a link to Wikipedia ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirograph ), which says, and i quote "Spirograph is a geometric drawing toy that produces mathematical curves of the variety technically known as hypotrochoids and epitrochoids. The term has also been used to describe a variety of software applications that display similar curves, and applied to the class of curves that can be produced with the drawing equipment (so in this sense it may be regarded as a synonym of hypotrochoid). The name is a registered trademark of Hasbro, Inc." oh...and i actually received a little bonus from myLot for using the search bar for that

I remember Spirograph! I had one when I was growing up. It is an art set basically. It's kinda hard to explain so I dug up a link for you to check out. I had a great time with this thing. I'm not sure if they even make them any more. http://www.samstoybox.com/toys/Spirograph.html

If I remember it right, spirograph is a drawing toy, I often see it being sold at sidewalks of the public market I passed by everytime I go home in my old place. It is a plastic piece wherein you will trace it in a paper and it will create shapes like rings, triangle or straight bars. i am not that sure with the whole mechanics of it, but it is composed of sets of plastic gears to be used in drawing
