Ok the handicapped mobile carts that are available for handicapped persons should be soley ment for their use. Today while visiting my local grocer, I witnessed a young male in is 20's with a friend of his shopping. One of them was riding around the cart abusing it, turning corners fast and laughing. I have seen this other times too with a multitude of people who don't belong on thoes carts. After their joy ride, they get up and walk just fine, and actually run to their car. I totally believe that in order to ride in one in the stores you need to show proof of a disability card or something, to store personal. The store I shop in has maybe 8 of these special carts. They need to be available for a truly disabled person...

Herro PlantsMe Welcome to mylot. May you have the wonderful, exciting experience that I am having at mylot. I am one of the people that needs the cart. I would be happy to show proof, however what would I show? My tag is in my car. DMV has my letter signed by my doctor, besides it would be very torn by now. I've been disabled for 10yrs. There are days I can walk a little better than others, but unable to do my total shopping due to distance around the stores. When that happens, and no cart is available (frequently), I use a regular cart and lean on it. I do my shopping in 3 trips that way. I have seen many people use the carts and be very mobile in getting into their cars. Our electric carts are at front of store, but not checked out by front people. You go and get-in. Just my rambling thoughts. Prosperous mylotting
