lose fat?lose weight?lose inches?
which one do you prefer to?
i prefer to choose lose inches more than the other two because everytime i've done 5 days cardio in a week and check for inches for upper thigh, middle thigh, waist, calves, i lose my inches! although my weight is up and down..
it make me excited and motivate me to continuously do cardio...
with losing inches, i absolutely lose fat!=D

wow! that's good for you!! :) i have tried to walk in the treadmill for long hours... i think though too that it is kind of difficult to lose weight. i only lost about 3 pounds when i have not eaten lunch and dinner for a week! and the whole dilemna made me feel weak! physically.. but i did feel stronger emotionally because i think i did pray a lot whnever i feel i can't go on anymore...
i am still walking a fair amount of time now in the treadmill but its not entirely helping me lose weight fast than i thought...

I like to lose inches too, I'm more concerned about my shape than my actual weight, as I'm not too heavy medically. A lot of people don't seem to realise the difference, your weight includes your muscle and bones as well as fat, so your body might get a better shape you could end up gaining weight.

MademoiselleEma,
All of the above will be good if it is being exercised on those who are overweight. So, whatever one decide to adopt - it will have to be done moderately and not over excessive that it will affect one's personal well being.
At the end of the day, it is our body and most of all our well being we must be concern and attentive. No point loosing everything including our lives over what is supposed to be actually good for us.

Hi MademoiselleEma! I definitely agree with you about prefering
to lose inches! That is always my target, but never seems to
work! I don't do heavy exercise because of my age, severe
arthritis and messed up knee, but when I did workout I could never
lose inches in my "trouble spot" which is my mid section! I
always had a big waist and hips and bust! I can never lose the
inches off my waist and hips now. When I was young I was tiny,
except for my bust. lol When I hit 30, forget it! No matter
how I tried I would lose weight, lose the inches, but only
briefly and if I gained the weight it always goes right to the
waist and hips and drives me crazy! I have to be 130 to "look
slimish". Right now I am 145 and look fat! Even my bf says so!
I look alot heavier than I weigh? One reason always is my chest,
but I so want to lose my mid section without those really difficult
exercises! H E L P! But, remember, I'm over 50 so be gentle!
