Who agree with me when I say Torrent is definitely one of the greatest invention

I totally agree with the concept of torrent. first it was limewire which was used to share files across the internet. people start using that concept and now it is torrent which is more powerful than normal share. it is very useful for open source projects and code distribution as it doesn't require particular configuration server to run on. Now a days most of linux versions are available in torrent format. which gives you maximum speed of download. but yeah piracy is the sad thing.. but all the things have both the sides positive and negative.. it depends upon how you use..

Torrent is one of the best sharing source, i use to download many softwares music, and movies through torrent. But sadly it have become main source of piracy, and one of the best bittorrent site "Mininova.org" is been banned due to it.......

I totally agree with you. Torrent or we say Peer-to-Peer sharing(in technical terms) is one of the biggest invention in the history of internet. We can send small or big files to multiple users without any problem and hassles. Also, it supports resuming of downloads, so connection breakage or any interruption while downloading is no problem with it and this is the best thing I like. But this is the fact that rather for putting its use for useful purpose, torrents play the biggest role in promoting the piracy. And now U.S. Govt is taking actions against illegal downloaders and the people who promote piracy.

Yes. I Agree Torrents are The Greatest Invention.Its a new way to share files. Its too bad that governments are trying to stop Torrents because they are used for illegal Downloading. Its not that torrents have to be stopped, its the copyrighted materal that needs to removed.

In China , we call it BT. It helps you download some network resources rapidly.However many network administrator hate it very much.Because it increased flowing data in network greatly, which could influenced some other network users.

WEll I've heard about the torrent but never tried using it. So I guess I cant say that is the greatest invention of all time. I dont agree with what you say, there are lots of invention there that helps us a lot not just this thing.
