Buchanan former coach of Australia who was coach during Austrlia's two wrold cup victories and famous 5-0 clean sweep in Ashes over England, has been hired to help England team in Ashes against Australia, he is presently helping England under 19s and likely to join England team to help them in sorting weaknesses of Australian cricket team.I am not sure what response he will get from Aussie cricket fans , but it is being seen as another tactic by England to pressurize Australia before ashes.I dont know how much help Buchanan will be to England but it will surely make the contest more interesting before ashes.

Hmm... I would not trust Buchanan to help out teams. Yes, he was successful with a completely functional and winning Australian team which he had taken over. But look at his performance with KKR where he had to build a team. I do not think that he has the skills to build teams, he can only keep the operational things running and milking the performance set up by others.
Cheers!

i think australian team has gone down, by time.
it was a good team set by steve waugh, ponting was just carrying it.
but after the retirement of key players like, mcgrath, hayden gilly, shane warne.
the team dont have the talent as it had in the past.
so think the coach will not make much difference

even though buchanan gonna help Aussies they still lack power house to dominate England. this ashes will be evenly contested series.

i agree with venkit.
actually aus team iss nto the same as in the past.
ponting has done nothing new to the team apart from his batting.
but he should take more responsibility and build a good team as steve waugh had done in the past.
