Are you a student or a working person? Do you love what you are doing? Are you satisfied with it? How and why?

It's great to hear that you love your work! If your work really means a lot to you, I think that's much more important than how much you make. You're most likely more successfull now in something you love than you would be in something that you felt you HAD to do for the extra money.

I agree to both of you. Money should not be the major consideration for everything, what matters most is that you are happy with what you are currently doing. Money can't buy you satisfaction and peace of mind while working.

I empathize with you. I can say it's not always the money that counts. I once had a high paying job which I left after 9 years because it takes away a lot from me. I can spend so little time with my daughter who was then only 6 six old. I cannot say I have rested in the whole week because even during my days off, clients would be calling me. I can't shoo their calls because my employer wouldn't like it. In my new job, the pay is smaller but I can watch my child grow. I can fully rest and recharge. I like it better this way. Soon your parents will understand you. Maybe, you can find a higher paying job too that you would like. Good luck!

I am working now..and i would say that i am really not enjoying my time in this work place. I'm not satisfied because i feel like im stuck in a place that I basically can't get out :( It not as if I have any other choice..I need to work to be able to survive(of course). I have already applied from other jobs that are of my interest my it seems that they don't have any vacancies yet or my qualifications don't meet theirs. So here i am stuck in a work that is not really challenging and a bit boring as well.

I'm currently pursuing my accounting degree. I can't say that I really like what I am doing now, but I seldom complain about it. Life is not always like what we expected. We can't stop doing something just because we don't like it. Thus, I change my mind, although I don't like what I am doing now, but I accept it. I believe if we can do something with our determination, there will be one day that we can be successful, we can control our life and do whatever we love to.

I agree but accountancy education requires not only your mathematical inclination and passion but also focus and most importantly is your interest on it. If you really love what you do, then you will always win any odds or battle that passes your way as you go on to your intended journey.

im fresh graduate student and now go through my training section in one of the company which run their business by online. Now i can feel it the pressure in working place is different than we faced in study age. The way we solute the problems have become matured and more to realistic. However, i still miss my high school life where i live in freedom and can enjoy my self all the time.

I am a student. I love it, because I have a passion for learning. I especially enjoy Advanced Placement and Honors classes because they give me a chance to challenge myself, and get a taste of college level classes. I'm very satisfied. I do well in school, probably because I enjoy learning so much. Because of this, I get a sense of accomplishment which further fuels my love of learning.
