Would you settle for less?

In life, we make a lot of choices from education, hobbies, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, dreams and a lot more. With these choices we make in ourlives would you settle for less or sometimes compromise things because the reality is we cannot always get the best of what we want, for some reason such as physical limitation, financial and other factors.

I'm the kind of person who wouldn't settle for less if there's always the possibility of getting the best. Compromises is inevitable in life, especially when it concerns other people's right. If getting the best entails hurting or stepping on other people's right or feeling then I would consider settling for less. What good is satisfaction when you've hurt someone right?

I don't think anybody would want to settle for less. It is human nature to always want to get the best. As you said, there will always be limitations. These limitations, however, should always be tried to be overcome by someone who simply wanted to be the best. On another note, I believe that the best is also relative. You may consider something or someone to be the best but may not necessarily be the best for me or for someone else. What you settled for or chose in life, be it personal or otherwise, should always be the best for you. Cheers!

I believe that every decisions we make for our lives will always be the best, because we know that whatever consequences of our decisions it is us that will benefit or suffer. Settling for the best is really a relative matter. Thanks for sharing!

According to me Expectation hurts so many times. Because see if you think about something and you will try to approach that particular thing and you will get that one without fail but some how you will some other things unknowingly. Like that in life whatever we want we won't get and we should compromise sometimes. It is the common thing, every day is not monday. You will also get a chance then on that time grab the chances whatever you get.

Sometimes we just have to wait for our chance to get what we want, and when that time comes don't take a second thought grab the opportunity and make it worthwhile. i to believe that there are things that we need to compromise but that does not mean we don't want the best, we just have to wait for our chance. thanks for sharing!

It depends on what it would be. Some things are too important, so I don't think you should settle if it comes to your future husband or wife, your dreams, your goals and other important things like that. But if it comes to smaller things, I would be willing to do it...
