But for you to get the licence you need to pass the test.. Have you apply for the test?

It was indeed really very exciting. I have been looking forward to the day I will have the driver's licence, so that I could drive out to all those favorite beautiful scenic places, along the highways and on the mountains. So disappointing it was to start with failing the driving tests four times. I passed the driving test only at the fifth time. That was amazing ! So, when I finally passed the test and got the licence, it became an unforgetable exciting day !

I recall my new car being delivered to the house; I was seventeen and I had been eagerly waiting for it to arrive. As soon as I got it I could not wait to take it out for a drive on my own. I remember my father insisting he come with me and I refused while acting very confident but feeling very nervous inside! I drove down the street and almost straight through a stop sign! My father may have been right; the excitement hindered my concentration somewhat! Luckily when I returned home me and the car were both in one piece!

I hold the stirring so tight and my husband advised me to get relax,or else, I may not enjoy my driving. I just drive to my neighbourhood with my husband's accompany. Then after I have get used, then I started to drive to more further place. Now, I have been driving more than 4 years and I have get used to it. No more scared and i really enjoy driving.

Uffhhh don't ask about that one, First day i and my brother went to a ground and usually its a play ground every day morning and evening people use to play cricket. We went around 3:30PM and after going there my brother hand over the car and he sat beside to me and started giving the guidance but when i hold the staring then i hold my nerves very tightly to start and to make a FIRST move. It is really horrible for me. I never feel that kind of experience in my life.

One word POWERFUL! It felt simply great to be in control of a powerful machine. It also felt great to move at such speed. You just can't control your smile.

I remember my first driving experience. It was quite embarrassing. i just had no confidence in my abilities. I was scared and nervous about driving and it showed. It took quite a while to get over these uneasy feelings and become a good driver.

You know, at first, driving was surreal to say the least. It was one of those things where it was nothing like I had imagined. Absolutely nothing like I had imagined. It was rather interesting to say the least. Driving is one of of those things that looks much easier when someone else is doing it. At first, it was like, this isn't quite as easy as it looks. These days, I think I am fine. Not the best but given some of the people on the road these days, I think it is safe to say that I am in fact far from the wrost. Still driving is what it is. It takes far more focus than it looks. Everyone makes it look easy when you watch them driving. However, it was quite the surreal experience to say the least. It is almost like having a different set of eyes when you are behind the wheel, then when you are off on the driver's seat.

child on board and driving :D - i wanted to learn how to drive, like her, lol!
driving is really fun to do,but i just had a little try,not really i am the one driving the car.i was seated beside the driver's seat back then, and it was my friend who is driving that time, but he used to reach something that i just had to take over,i felt nervous cause we nearly bumped something, cause i can hardly see the road we're into.but even though it was just for a while,i know i felt excited at the same time nervous cause the car nearly got bumped to something.haha for sure,i really want to experience to drive myself and drive my own car,i just wonder when will i ever had a car of my own?

Like everybody else I was scared. I learned how to drive using a stick shift. I was so confused as to when I should shift the gear. I was more scared when I had to learn how to drive on an incline. Getting the right balance for "hanging" was hard. But I was also happy because I never bumped our car while I was learning. (That happened years later hahaha!) That was 17 years ago. Now sometimes I get sick of driving. I wish someone would drive for me. LOL!

Of course it was scary, and I was so tense. Before I could let the car run, my passengers have to wait at least 10 - 15 minutes before I start driving. It's because I have to make sure I have prepared all the necessary things to do before driving like setting the side mirrors, the rear view mirror, the handbrake etc.... I also don't wear shoes when driving. I'm scared of stepping the gas and slipping so I prefer to wear ballet shoes instead. I also wouldn't dare drive in the evening. I think it took me a few months before I was able to do it. Not only that, I only go through the roads that I usually travel, it's like for security. Little by little I get the hang of it but it really took quite a while. :)

When I first drove my car, after learning driving. I went to attend a marriage and the distance was some 25 Kilometers from my house. I felt very nervous and the car keep stopping at unexpected places or in traffic jams, as I was not expert in handling gears and clutch. I cannot forget that experience.
