Do you post a new discussion even if you know it is gonna be deleted just because you are curious? And by that I don't mean by posting your referral link or by inviting people to join you on this and that. I mean you post it just because you are curious to really know something even if you already know that it will surely be deleted and you will not get credited?

If I were testing the system or something, I might post a discussion that I know is against the Guidelines and ought to be deleted. Otherwise it's just a waste of everyone's time and ... duh! ... why would I do that? I quite often respond to discussions which I am pretty sure will be deleted, however ... usually to tell newbies where to find the Guidelines and why they should read them. I am much more concerned that MyLot should be known for keeping a tight ship than I am about my 'star' rating or about earning. I probably spend more time 'reporting' than I do responding, as a matter of fact ... and I do keep an eye on whether what I report is deleted or not. There are a number of others who do the same (and probably more than I am aware of). It is EVERYONE's duty to see that the standards are maintained otherwise we shall all suffer in the end.

Wow. Like an undercover. Am I on the list of those being watched? JK. Yeah, sometimes I do that too, but not to the point that I make sure they really delete it.

damned dle do you people hate to just learn the information you need that much that you deliberately will make a deletable discussion? for one thing I need every penny I make and I think that reading all the information should be a must do for us all, getting it second hand ruins the risk of not getting it right as the other person may not have got all the info correct. go read the damned stuff, its not hard to do, do not make us older ones have to get our own reponses deleted just to help people too darned lazy to read the info for themselves. pretend it is the National Inquirer. lol lol lol.

Well first of all I didn't say I do that. Second of all if YOU read the damned stuff too you will know what will be deleted and what will not. Especially those who have been long enough in here. But for new members it is trial and error because the guidelines are not very clear. For me I always read the email notifications regarding those that are deleted by mylot, even if I did the discussion myself or just responded to it. In that way I will know what to do next time. I sure hope everyone is doing the same way too so they will not waste time answering questions or starting discussions that will get deleted.

I honestly hope people don't do that, sweetie. Those who respond are also hit by it. I just wish everyone will read the freaking faq's and follow the guidelines. It cannot be that hard. TATA.

if a discussion is going to be eliminated, do not answer directly. It has happened several times that a response to a topic, develop long answers, and then receive the e-mail that the response was eliminated because it violated the debate rules. There is no point responding to a discussion that will be eliminated, the issue is to realize in time.

I try to avoid posting discussions that could possibly be deleted. I try to post topics that haven't been posted before and so far, I haven't had any of my topics deleted.
