Creative Energy

Do you ever have those days when you have an over abundance of creative energy?
I am having one of those days today. I wrote a poem, it's been a while since I have done that. My kids stayed the night at grandma's or I would do a craft with them probably or something. But being that I am alone today I have no idea how to expel this creative energy. One poem was just not enough.
So what do you do with this kind of energy? Anyone have any suggestions for something for me to do today to make this energy useful?

I absolutely love those days. :) I haven't had one in a while, and I really miss it. Conratulations on the poem! Most of the time when I have creative energy, I use it to write. Writing is my favorite hobby. Are you an artsy person? I suppose you could also use it to make something?

You could Pre-try different arts and crafts. I went to youtube and there are some great videos about different crafts. The one about making your own paper looked like fun. Not sure their ages or what they would like. Some of the Christmas ones look and sound like fun. Esp. the glue stuff together and make ornaments. If you have slate, old wood, or anything interesting, you could glue or frame your poem. Then get a way to hang it or a way to display it on a table. You could start a poem collage with pictures surrounding it and then add mroe poems. Then encourage you kids to write poems and draw or find pictures to go with it.
I see this was three weeks ago. So the moment has probably passed. But maybe a similar moment will arrive again.

For the last nearly four years, my outlet for my creative energy is in the form of digital scrapbooking. I discovered this outlet quite accidentally shortly after my son was born. Since that time, I've been hooked on it. It is great for me to be able to do this because I am able to expel creative energy, and I'm also able to link together pictures and stories of things that happen in my children's lives. In addition to that, I also think that this is a very affordable crafting avenue.
