I am a Filipino, by blood and by birth, but my name sounds like a Spanish name. It's Bonavida. Bona is derived from the word "buena", meaning good; and vida means life. So, there it goes... my name means "Good Life" :) How about yours?

Is Bonavida your first or last name? It sounds more like a last name then first name to me. :) Just saying. I am Filipino too and my last name means Friday in Spanish. :P I have a friend who is also Filipino with the last name Domingo which is Sunday in Spanish. . .haha.

My name is Adoniah and it means "My Lord is God". It is also the name of King David's fourth son in the Torah. I do happen to be female even though I have a male name. It is a feminine sounding name. Ahh-Doe-Knee-Ahh. Shalom~Adoniah
