I am a fan of Bayern Munchen from 1998 when I was nine years old and since then I follow them closely. I always tried to watch every game, but not always managed to, because the lack of technology. Nowadays it is much more easier to follow matches because of the wide spread of Internet and there are many sports channels as well. I will never forget the CL final from 1999 against Manchester, the final from 2001 against Valencia, the only international success of Bayern which I witnessed. And I will never forget the recent season, which was very good, and the final with Inter which was lost because of the tactics of Mourinho. I am also a great fan of the German national team, and I hope that I will watch them lift an international trophy, because since I follow them, they were many times so close of triumph, but never got the European Cup or World Cup in their hands. I suffered a lot because of this two teams, although I am not German and I don't live in Germany, but I hope that I will have many successes that I will celebrate. And I also love Hungary's national team, because I am Hungarian and I hope that they will give me more satisfactions then they had until now. So please write about you! What teams do you cheer for and why? Are you suffering for a particular team or you are just enjoying football, no matter the teams. please let me know. I love to talk about football, because it is my passion since I was a little child.

Last season was a great season for European Football. What was heartening was that there were four nations represented in the semi finals in Spain, Germany, Italy and France. I felt really good to see Inter and Bayern clash for the title and Inter went on to win the CL. This year I hope again there is a wide set of clubs from different countries which reach the last 4 instead of the domination of the English clubs which was becoming a regularity in the 4 years before the last!! Cheers! Ram

Actually Mourinho and Real Madrid are an interesting combination. As the philosophy is completely different for both as Mourinho goes for effective football. While Real Madrid will always go for flair football. Cheers! Ram

Of course Mourinho goes for effective football, but I am sure that if he has the right players he will also make his team play attractive football which will be combined with effectiveness. And if somebody knows how to combine different styles of football, that is Mourinho. He understands football as no other trainer does. I must admit, although I am a great Bayern fan, that he learned everything from van Gaal and took it to a higher level. He is one of the greatest trainers, in history, but he'll never be the best, because he haven't invented a different tactic, he only evolved it.

I agree that is more interesting to have teams from different countries in the semis, because that way we can find out which style of football is the most efficient. I believe that Jose Mourinho's type of football is very efficient, and it full of tricks. However, I can only admit that he is a very good trainer, one of the best in the history. He is very clever, and he can create a special atmosphere in the team. As for the English clubs, they are dominating because of the money they have and the teams are full of foreigners. I cannot agree with the fact that somebody who has lots of money - like Abramovitch- comes and buys a team and that team to have an endless budget. I feel that it is not correct, and it certainly not healthy competition. Because in Germany, for example, clubs cannot be bought by somebody, they have to manage they own budget, and teams are not allowed to spend more than they produce. This way Bundesliga has a major handicap to England and Italy, and to Spain as well, because the teams from Primera Division are full of debt.

I have been watching the EPL and my favorite team is Arsenal. I have been supporting since 1989. During this period, there were many ups and downs. The downs were the latter days under George Graham tenure, Stewart Houston and Bruce Rioch. Since Wenger took over, he had revolutionise the team. From boring Arsenal to a brand of football never seen in the EPL. Of course, glories came together with the flair. However, since the invincible season, it is getting back to the trophyless years. Yes, they still play their brand of attractive football but with no rewards. Hopefully something will change but from what I have seen, it look set to continue.

That's a long time, I was born in 1989. I can appreciate a person who is a real supporter, and not just a "success fan", who cheers the team only when they are good. Real supporters are those who stick to their teams even when they are down, and is not ashamed of his team. No matter what team do you support, as long as you are a true supporter and not a retarded who only does violence and other crazy stuff.

I still remember when there were a surge in the number of Blackburn fans. Blue and white was the color and everyone has either Shearer or Sutton. Then all of a sudden, the blues changed to black and everyone is a magpie. Those fair weather fans, I presume would have a closet of jerseys to choose from. As for those trouble-maker, they do not have a space in the game.

I really like it too, but I don't follow the German league that much. I mostly watch Premier League, Serie A (Italy) and La Liga (Spain). My favorite teams are Barcelona, Arsenal and Juventus. Weird mix, I know!

Everybody follows what he wants, but I think that is good to have favorite teams, because nothing compares to the emotions and feelings what football provides us. Don't you agree?
