Do you have scientific ideas when you were a kid that is being done now?

I do have many of those. I wish I patented them 
but what can I do back then, I was just a kid. And I do still have some ideas that are not being made yet, but I won't share it with you... LOL.
Some of my ideas that is being done now regards gathering electricity. Like getting electricity from ocean waves. We all know that we can get energy from anything that moves. Another one is from small - medium sized water falls and streams or rivers. We don't need a GIANT dam just to get electricity. Now they are building small scale turbines for those. Weight also can produce energy, and the highways have lots of vehicles, I have thought of that when we stopped on a tollgate. They can put humps there that lowers whenever a vehicle passes and get some energy. To my surprise it is now being done (I think in japan).

i had an idea, but this was not when i was a kid. i think the idea was just about an escalator not moving when no one is riding it... i often see escalators move continuously, either going up or going down and that i think is a huge waste of money! and i always tell that to my bf - if they could only do that it would be ab great savings! imagine my surprise when we were at the outside parking of one mall here in manila when i thought, oh no the escalator isn't working. but then when we were sensed by it... it moved up! yuppie.. my bf said.. wow that was what you were wising for a long time now! and it was exciting, right! whatever the mind conceives it can achieve!

Yeah I have thought of that too, and that is a really really good idea! But I haven't seen one yet. Where in manila is that?? But don't you wish you could have been credited for that idea somehow?

I was really not great of a thinker but i hoped a lot about stuff. I hoped there will be a time machine invented in the future but until now there aren't so, snap.
