Hmmmmm, I have heard that too and I believe that this is true BUT it depends on the person. Ya know, like maybe it is the truth of maybe he or she is just a liar and can still manage to bull crap even when drunk. $-MrDollars-$

Hello, Asynjure, and welcome to MyLot. I believe that someone who is drunk is not capable of coming up with new thoughts. However, drink does lower inhibitions, so they may be less tactful about what they say, so yes, I'd say that, like the old saying, 'In vino veritas,' the truth comes out when people are drunk.

I believe it to be true. When you are drunk, the inhibitions is gone. You don't think about the consequences or if you are going to hurt other people. Some of the things you would never have said out loud do come out when you are drunk. Generally speaking, that is. There are people who can still control themselves.
