I think one word to sum up a good friend is devotion. A good friend is a person who stays devoted to you and your well being no matter if you are having a good day, a bad day, if your mad, sick, sad, a friend is devoted and stands by you no matter what.

true definition as well.Friends dont take off running when trouble arrives; they stick beside you and defend you and that is part of friendship too;)+

My friends are those who never judge me and I don't judge them. We support each other and respect each others opinions and values. A true friend is someone you can talk to about almost anything and everything, laugh and cry and enjoy spending time with.

A good friend is someone who doesn't judge, who accepts me for me, who is there for me anytime day or night. She will laugh and cry with me, she will stand by me no matter what decision I make, even if it is the wrong one. She will be waiting to help pick up the pieces when everything falls apart.
