new zeland outplayed india in the first odi at colombo by a margin of 200runs which is the worst defeat for india under dhoni's captaincy. what has gone wrong? bowling was superb for fist fifteen overs but india's weapon being spinners failed to slow down the run rate. irresponsible batting form indian team in this match. no one could save india from defeat. careless shots and lack of communication between runs is all matters. hope india will rectify their mistakes in the forthcoming matches and be victorious.

may be this is because of absence of senior players like sachin and dravid(experience)

a team should not rely only on senior players. youngsters should perform well. it was an irresponsible shot from rohit today

Once again a pathetic performance after a good turnaround in the Test series. Will we not be consistent ever. The batsmen seemed to be in a hurry to rush back to the pavilion and the bowling has always been a cause for concern. We do not seem to have any bench strength as far as bowling is concerned. On top of that Yuvaraj seems to be hell bent to end his International career in a hurry, no matter how many chances are given to him.

I think in the ODI and T20 arena the performances of the Indian team have been inconsistent for over two years now. On a given day they are good, on other days they simply collapse. I think it is high time that we start wielding the axe on some of the players who have simply not grown up. I think Jadeja has been given more than his fair share and he should now be dropped from the team. I would rather play Pathan than Jadeja as their spin bowling is more or less comparable and Pathan has more potential with the bat than Jadeja!! Cheers! Ram
