Vegetarian food Vs Non vegetarian food

Hi mylotters, What you think? which is good for health, Vegetarian or non vegetarian food? According to me, vegetarian food is good. fresh vegetables will give us good health and contains no fat. No need to worry about digestion. Easy to prepare, healthy,.. what else... Share your thoughts.

I say non-vegetarian food. You can get tons of nutrients by eating all sorts of foods, even fat, we need it in our body, but if we limit ourselves to eating just a particular food/foods, then we are also limiting what our body is receiving which is not good, in a way. Although the upside in vegetarians is that, they lessen the risk of complications in our body.

Less fat, less risk, good health. Greens, vegetables, we can get proteins, and all nutrient from vegetarian food.

I am not a vegetarian, but I certainly prefer vegetarian food. When I go to buffet lunches and dinners, I go for vegetables. I agree, vegetables have herbal values in different ways, and are good for health. I stay away from fatty foods. They are not good for health.

Yes. Greenline. We should atleast try to fatty foods and vegetarian food is good for long live life. No need to fear for anything. No side effects.

i was a vegetarian but then i had to adapt to FIlipino foods so i had to be non vegetarian. now i can manage myself and work on my own to provide my needs, i am back to being vegetarian. both are healthy choices as long as you watch out what u eat. if non vegetarian, make sure u don't overeat the bad ones, if u are vegetarian make sure u take the complementary foods on your diet so as not to miss the nutrients needed. =)

Hi hushi, Yes. I was pure vegetarian before. To balance the nutrient things, i started to eat eggs. Now am healthy. We've to careful in balanced diet. Then whatever vegetarian or non vegetarian doesnt matter.

Both vegetarian and non vegetarian is good for health when it is a balanced diet. If there is excess of anything then there is a chance of it being harmful to us. Hence would suggest a big of vegetables, some meat and lots of fluids.

Correct. whatever we eat, if we have balanced food, then our health will be good.
