Cal Look Beetle

Settling on a certain look for your car is not an easy decision to make
for one it's costly just to modify a few things on your car
so finding a certain look is no easy task.
As soon as you've decided on a look, you'll be stuck with it for a long time, like a year or two or until you decide to change things again.
The Cal Look or California Look Beetle is very popular everywhere because it is simple and clean and timeless.
Unlike a restoration, the parts you get for your volkswagen don't have to be period correct. The important thing is that all the unnecessary trimmings and what not is removed from the car or at least minimized.
On my car, the bumpers'll have to go. The 2 piece windows (with airvent) will be replaced with 1 piece windows. New upholstery. new repaint.
as soon as i've done all that, i'll have a very nice cal looker on my hands

I don't like the Beetles. I want "Kevin's Car" from "Ben 10: Alien Swarm", a.k.a. The Dodge Challenger in Green with the two black streaks right down the middle. A really awesome muscle car! The Beetle is a "girly" car.

hi chipesterkhan I think the look is really modern and cool
and sleek. I like it. I do not think Beetles are girly cars
at all. I am a woman, elderly but a woman, and I do not
see anything girly at all about it. its classic and very
attractive to me anyway.Sounds like a work of love, and those
are the best kind.
