What Do You Pray For

I pray not often enough though, I'm working on restoring my faith, I think its in part because i'm so young and often feel invincible I have to remember that Its ok to ask the Father Lord for help. I don't have to go about it alone. Many of my firends aren't that religious also, so that adds to my lack of prayer time but I have to remember and strive to be my own person! Being so young influences suck these days so i'm just tryin to create my own idol. I'll get there and I'll succeed through this all but it takes time.

I ask the lord to give me strength to face the world. To give the knowledge to bring more business for the company and make more money so that i can fullfil my wife's dreams and keep her happy all my life.

I pray for the sound health of me and my family members and always pray that May God happiness to all so that all could smile.

When I was younger I pray for material things, but as I grow older, I noticed that my prayers do not include those but instead more on peace and health. Sometimes I pray that problems would be solve but generally, it's more on just guide and protect us.

yes i pray for work income increase, then my health for well. my sivabakyam mental organisation school children good health all see that god. thats all pray for me.

My constant prayer involves good health thus long life for myself and my loved ones, happiness for everyone, and success in all my endeavors and my family's.

I pray to get peace and stability in the liver in the face of life filled with uncertainty, because there is only the god certainty

I pray about so many things. But mainly, I pray what God wants me to pray for. Every prayer time is different, I dont pray for the same things. SOmetimes I pray for our church, our country, salvation of my family and friends, I pray for lost souls, I pray for God's mercy and grace, I pray for guidance in everything I do. I pray that God would teach me His ways and ways that I could please and glorify Him. I pray that God will teach me how to love Him more. I pray for so many things, but all these prayers is for His purpose.

Honestly, sometimes I am guilty of this, praying for material things and then wonder why God would not grant my request....but then whenever I pray, really allow my heart to talk and Listen to Him, He would tell me and make me understand why is it so...I would hear it in my thoughts, "I do not wish to give what you ask for because it will take you away from me...and it would hurt both of us...being apart....My child I love you so much....you don't need anything other than my Love and the love of your family and friends whom I have sent you...that you may know and feel how much I love you." Most of the time I ask for guidance and wisdom that I may raise my children as best as they can be...to be God-fearing individuals and compassionate to other people.

Well done, that's the way :-) We shouldn't pray for the things of this world, as our Heavenly Father provides all that we physically, etc need. I pray for wisdom, love, mercy, truth & to "know" God, to be near God, to catch Him & yank his beard & ask "why?". I pray that He will continue to perfect me in His sight & that I may be of some blessing to the people of this beautiful planet. I pray for all the killing to stop. I pray for all the religious fights to stop, & for us all to shake hands, sit down & have a cup of tea together over a light conversation on the beauty & majesty & wonder of heaven :-)

The Bible says that we pray and receive not for we pray with wrong motives...Pray that God will give you the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation that we may know and understand His will for us...and we can pray for the right prayers...Pray that the Holy Spirit guide and teach you as you pray...

I always pray for fast recovery of my father.My father suffered a mild stroke last February of this year and he is know in the process of getting better and recovery.I hope my father will overcome all the process of recovery to have again a normal life.
