I have recently opened an account ( well about half an hour ago actually!!) on eCrater to advertise my E-Books and Santa Letters in the US, I am hoping that I ghave done the right thing and that the site is OK !! Are any of you members on there, and can you tell me of your experiences, do they charge per item you sell? Thanks in advance

Hiya chem, Nope don´t have an e-crater account but I believe they are good thing to have if you want to set up a Store Front or something similar also it seems you can import your E-bay products that you might be selling on to there. Sorry I can´t be of more help. None of these sites would be viable for me at the moment due to where I live. But I wish you all the luck in the World with what you are doing. Do you sell E-books or do you write them and sell them on E-bay? As well as the Santa Letters I mean.

Yes they are - there is a link to them on my profile page. I frist started doing them after requests from fellow members of a Weight Watchers message board; I am a trained Home Economist and used to teach catering and have always been interested in low fat cooking

Hi Everyone, I'm new here. I have sold on ebay since 2004. I am selling differnt kind of TV wall mounts/ ceiling mounts, cosplay costumes, cosplay caps, carton characters, laptop stands, microphone stands, electronic products, sporting goods(cycling), household items, etc. And now, I find ecrater is a free online marketplace and charge no fees, so I moved to ecrater. If anyone want to see my store, rainbowstore.ecrater.com. Feel free and confident shopping with us!!

There is at least one other Lotter - giftsandbagscom - who uses the site you mention. I was looking at her crafts site not long ago because she mentioned getting things ready for the Christmas sales. If she doesn't see this discussion maybe you can contact her

Thanks, I'll pm her - I'm sure that she's a friend! I'm quite new to the internet selling although I've been doing the letters and books for 8 years now, mainly word of mouth!

I am using e-crater, and my experience is that if I want to sell anything, then I need to drive traffic to my store. It is not quite like ebay where you can already expect some traffic to your offer. They don't ask for any fee.

Well, you have the answer, but I'll respond anyway now that I've opened it. Not something that I have ever heard of, until today.
